Farriers
Farriers is a fantastic fishery consisting of two lakes nestled in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park surrounded by Gloucestershire countryside. The largest of the lakes at 32 acres was originally stocked by the Carp Society with an aim to becoming one of the best ‘Big Fish’ waters in the country. Over 650 fish were introduced prior to the lakes opening in 1997. The lake now regularly produces both mirror carp and common carp over 30lbs. There are also a number of double figure pike providing the winder predator hunter with plenty of sport.
Farriers is run on a syndicate basis by the Carp Society.
Location
Enter the Cotswold Water Park from the A419 South Cerney junction and you will find the lake approximately 1½ miles west of the main road.
There is easy access to all swims, good car parking and there are toilets at the site.
