Little Horseshoe is a fantastic little lake of around four acres in size with so many ‘carpy’ features that you’ll always have something interesting to fish to no matter what swin you are in.

A number of huge fish have recently come out with more and more being caught every day of the week. The lake is often quite quiet and you may even find yourself being the only one on the lake with all those huge fish all to yourself.

Be careful not to spod too much as the fish don’t seem to respond well to this. Small PVA bags in the right places are the trick here. The chod rig has been working wonders here over the past few months. Also, make sure you take along some polaroids so you can see what you’re fishing to.
